For $5, Help Us Say Goodbye to Single-Use Plastics!

We’re launching a campaign to deliver 600 BPA-free, reusable water bottles for our students and faculty during the holiday season. For just $5 apiece, these bottles will replace harmful single-use plastic, which is commonly used—and too often burned as waste—in rural Cambodia. This practice releases toxic fumes that pollute the air, damage the environment, and harm the health of children and families.

Why It Matters:
In Cambodia’s countryside, there is limited access to waste collection. Most plastic waste is discarded in fields or ditches—or burned. At our school alone, switching to reusable bottles will eliminate thousands of single-use bottles every year and significantly reduce plastic burn waste on campus. We have arranged for recycling for any remaining plastic.

Your $5 donation will provide:

  • One high-quality, reusable water bottle for a student or staff member. Each student will write their name on their bottle.
  • Support for in-classroom shelving to store bottles safely during the school day. Students will wash and leave their bottles at school, ensuring they are available daily, remain hygienic, and aren’t lost at home.

Our Goal: 600 Bottles + Classroom Storage

✅ $5 = 1 student bottle and funding for shelving/storage in each classroom and office.
✅ Environmentally sustainable impact
✅ Gift may be tax-deductible for U.S. donors
✅ 100% of funds go directly to this project – any overage will be applied maintenance and upkeep of our reverse-osmosis water purification system we installed in 2023.

Let’s give the gift of clean water and a cleaner Cambodia! The bottles will be delivered by a visit from Santa Claus and his helpers in mid-December 2025.

Donate now and be part of something simple, meaningful, and lasting. Together, we can reduce pollution, promote sustainability, and care for the children and the planet they will inherit.
